Natali Fani González for County Council Gets Certified by the State Board of Elections for Public Campaign Funds

Earned the support of diverse community members who are contributing and volunteering,

Earned CASA in Action's endorsement


Wheaton, MD - In front of a diverse crowd of supporters at Wheaton Forest Local Park, neighbors and community leaders joined forces to celebrate the State Board certification of the Natali Fani González for County Council's campaign to obtain Public Campaign Funds. "I testified in favor of the Public Campaign Funds legislation in March of 2014, and now I'm thrilled and proud to report that we are officially certified," stated Natali during her campaign kickoff on Sept 23. "Together, we have raised over $17,000 in small donations, the average is $80, and we are now celebrating this huge accomplishment thanks to you."


Endorsed by the immigrant rights group CASA in Action and renowned leaders such as Maryland State Delegate Joseline Peña-Melnyk and former State Delegate Ana Sol Gutierrez, Natali has been holding small gatherings and meeting voters at their door for the past few weeks, "We have knocked on over 3 thousand doors to learn about the challenges and hopes of our community," stated Natali during the campaign kickoff. "We will continue our canvassing efforts with love and dedication to engage every voter."


Natali is the former Vice-Chair of the Montgomery County Planning Board, part of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. She currently works on advocacy and communications on federal issues. Natali has lived in District 4 for over 20 years, first in Aspen Hill, then in Kensington Heights and now in Wheaton for the last 8 years with her husband and children. Learn more:
